1. Introduction

HoneKit is a Chrome extension for managing and enhancing AI prompts. We built it local-first: your prompt library stays on your device.

2. What stays on your device

HoneKit keeps your data on your computer, inside Chrome. This includes:

• Your prompts (titles and content)
• How you organize them (categories and order)
• Your preferences and settings
• How many free enhancements you've used
• Your license key, if you've activated one

We never upload or sync your prompt library to our servers. Your prompts belong to you and stay local.

3. When we connect to the internet

HoneKit works offline for most features. We only connect to the internet when:

• You activate a license — we verify your license key with our server
• You purchase Pro (when available) — checkout is handled securely by our payment provider

We do not send your prompts to our servers for storage, analytics, or AI processing.

4. On-device AI enhancement

When you use ✨ Enhance, your text is improved using AI built into Chrome—it runs on your device. Your draft is not sent to HoneKit's servers or to external AI services for this feature.
